第一周的比赛虽然全数完成，但过程并不能说一帆风顺。
Our first week of the regular season just successfully finished and I have to show my great thanks and respect to everyone here. However, there is one problem raised many of concerns, which I have to share with u guys and make it clear.

According to our middleman’s record, player Lificious from China and player ez from foreign country scheduled their Gen5OU game on Sunday night (GMT+8). Unfortunately, ez didn’t show up that night while Lificious had been waiting for over 1 hour. Luckily under the effort from both teams ’captains and our referee, they still finished their game right before the deadline of the first week, but it did expose a problem which might be severe and we have to face with, about how to balance scheduling rules of both sides and require an act win.

Under the rule of PSChina for scheduling, when the time is apporaching the deadline (48 hours before) player will be allowed to call act win if his opp did not show up in 30 mins later than the schedule and his opp’s team failed to sub in and reschedule. However, on Smogon forum it is not as rigorous as the PSChina is. From my personal experience of participating the tournament of Smogon, only when my opp did miss the schedule twice or did not response at all from the beginning shall I attain an act win in the end. It causes a gap in the penalty of missing schedule because of the different activity win rules of two sides. To handle this gap, me @chickwayne as the tour host of ShinxCup, give priority to reschedule for both teams, or offer Lificous an activity win when a time conflict happens during the reschedule. According to the rule of PSChina Lificious has already been given a right to attain act win and thus this settlement may pose an unfairness for this tournament. By sheer luck there was not another situation came out and they finished the game, or it may breed huge problem.

From the beginning i was seeking a balance from the rules of both sides, however it is unable to ensure that we won’t face these kind of problem and all they can be deal with by luck again. Therefore I have to make it clear here that

When we talking about the vision of ShinxCup, it should be one of the most supreme team tournaments for connecting our Chinese players and those who are well-respected and well-known on Smogon. Since ShinxCup has merely come to its second season, we are much willing to continuously improve its participation experience. every insufficiency we exposed during the tournament will be a priceless experience and therefore, absorbing and optimizing it is our priority.

国内选手Lificious与外国选手ez约定在周日晚11点进行G5OU比赛，但在超过约定时间久至一小时后ez未曾露面并完成比赛。虽然多方努力下最终两人顺利完成了比赛，但依然暴露出本届比赛关于如何定夺ACT的问题。

按照国服赛事规则，当你的对手队伍超出约战时间半小时无法出场及无法换上替补进行重新约战，则规则明确你有权利进行act获胜。而Smogon赛事规则在该细节上更为宽容，按照主办方个人的参赛与参团经验，在对手从一开始就人间蒸发或爽约两次后方可进行act获胜。两套比赛规则的宽松程度不同致使守时守约的成本不一，基于该区别，在本次定夺中主办方也采取了更偏向宽容的处理，即在ez未通知负责人卡米那后爽约，且未能换上替补的情况下主办方选择优先安排重约，当Lificious依然与ez存在约战冲突时才给予Lificious Act获胜的判决。所幸两人成功完成比赛，本次处理才不至于酿出更大问题，但确实也需要主办方更公开及透明地处理关于如何平衡两边规则的定夺。

此前的处理是主办方个人希望寻求两边规则的折中点，但这并不能保证之后的赛事过程中再次出现该类问题也能有如此顺利的解决，当然也可能是主办方自身并未参加更高级别的Smogon团赛，导致在本次Host中判断能力不足。因此在此明确，ShinxCup是国服A级团赛，是基于国服赛事规则框架举办的比赛，那关于如何处理约战爽约及申报act的问题也将按照国服赛事规则执行。当然由于国内外交流联系的渠道不同，两边选手在接触上难免存在时间差，还请各位选手能允许主办方在处理爽约时的标准能适当放宽至1小时以内，也建议各位选手在每次约战中提供的空闲区间能尽量避免极限的时间。

无论如何，赛事过程中出现的各种事项都将成为主办方的经验，也希望ShinxCup能因此更往国内外玩家互相交流赛事平台的目标前进一些。
